Schedule Adult Intensive February 2025:
Thursday evening, February 13 6 - 9:00 pm
Friday evening, February 14 6 - 9:00 pm
Saturday, February 15 10am - 3:30pm
Sunday, February 16 10am - 3:30 pm
Information:
All coachings and rehearsals are concentrated in four days, with the final coaching and concert occurring on Sunday morning. This allows participants to maintain their regular weekday work schedule, and still be able to participate in an intense workshop playing chamber music with other enthusiastic adults. Every participant is placed in two coached chamber music groups. Each group receives over 6 hours of coaching, with a masterclass and a final concert by participating groups.
Groups are expertly formed based on each participant's level and experience. Music is sent out in advance. Each group will have a faculty coach playing with them, unless a pre-formed group is complete. Our faculty are highly qualified experienced chamber musicians who are as passionate about playing chamber music as they are about passing on their knowledge. There will also be time for socializing with wine and cheese receptions each night.
(Appropriate level is ACMP A, B and C.) Groups will be formed by level, and music will be sent out in advance. You may request a specific work and we will try to accommodate your wishes.
