Masterclasses at CMC

Masterclasses are an integral part of our mission to guide and support each student’s musical journey.

CMC regularly invites some of the world’s greatest chamber musicians to inspire, delight and bring new interpretations to our chamber groups. Every group participates — both as performers as well as listeners. As performers, students come away with fresh insights, ideas and motivation. Observing a masterclass is equally as educational — students observe the process from the outside, gaining a new understanding of musicianship and ensemble playing.

At the heart of The Chamber Music Center lies a passion for inspired music-making and for creating an empathetic connection through chamber music. I was honored to work with the students, all of whom were open, energetic and creative. Bravo — the world needs you!
