Reconnecting
Underscoring our commitment to life-long music making, CMC offers two Adult Chamber Music Workshops a year. These programs allow adult amateur musicians to immerse themselves in the world of chamber music in an intensive but supportive environment. Our participants come away with the satisfaction of reconnecting with old friends – whether they be fellow musicians or beloved works from the chamber music repertoire. The adult musicians that take part in these workshops enjoy the thrill of playing with others and the serious fun that our young CMC students experience.

Workshop details
Professional musicians serve as our Adult Workshops’ players/coaches, with each group receiving 7 hours of coaching. The program begins Thursday evening, includes a masterclass on Saturday, and culminates in an informal recital on Sunday afternoon. Musicians are expertly grouped according to their level and pre-formed groups are welcome. These workshops allow the working adult to participate in an intense chamber music immersion without interfering with their professional commitments.
