Rotational System at CMC
We want our orchestra members to have the fullest possible orchestra experience. We accomplish this by giving students the opportunity to switch between part 1 and 2 for different pieces when possible. Often you will be asked to learn both parts so you can experience different roles throughout the rehearsal process.

Who plays what in Mendelssohn Symphony No. 4 “Italian:”
Flute 1 & 2 (learn both!): Enli, Tommy
Clarinet 1: Angus
Clarinet 1 & 2 (focus on 2, but if extra time, learn 1): Elias
Trumpet 2: Blanche

Who plays what in “Ritual Fire Dance:”
Flute 1: Tommy
Flute 2/Piccolo: Enli (also learn Flute 1 part)
Clarinet 1: Angus
Clarinet 2: Elias (also learn Clarinet 1 part)
Trumpet: Blanche
